Are you an experienced and confident web developer with at least 4 years industry experience under your belt? If so, then an exciting opportunity could be waiting for you here at Spitfire Marketing.

Spitfire is a growing Hampshire agency offering a breadth of marketing disciplines to a broad mix of clients. The work is diverse, interesting and challenging.

We are currently looking for a confident web developer with expertise in HTML, CSS and either PHP with good knowledge of Java/Jquery and modern website techniques.

Experience of implementing an SEO strategy into your work and being able to be proactive for SEO is also desired.

Additional to this, experience of content management systems is essential, especially Expression Engine and WordPress with knowledge of Drupal and Joomla and added bonus. At Spitfire, we also have our own custom built open source PHP CMS, so experience of developing open source PHP is a huge bonus, but not essential.

Reporting to the Creative Director and working alongside our existing developers, your primary role will be to take finished Photoshop artwork with a concise style brief and professionally develop it into a cross browser/W3C compliant website.

Accuracy and attention to detail is essential for this role and we are looking for proactivity to help drive our digital agency services. For someone who can deliver this there is an excellent career progression opportunity.

We are currently offering the role on a part-time or inhouse freelance basis but if you are a talented web designer aswell then a full time position could be available for you.
