Southampton based marketing agency Spitfire Marketing has just launched a major new project for national cycling body – Cycling Time Trials.
In cycle sport ‘The Race of Truth’ is the name given to the time trial discipline – the one in which Sir Bradley Wiggins won his Olympic gold medal in 2012. It is also the name of a new documentary on the sport, currently being aired on British Eurosport to coincide with the Tour de France and commissioned by Cycling Time Trials. To accompany the documentary Cycling Time Trials also wanted a supporting website to introduce cyclists who are new to the discipline and turned to Spitfire Marketing to design and build it.
Spitfire has previous worked with Cycling Time Trials (CTT), having designed their distinctive corporate identity three years ago. The new site; www.theraceoftruth.org.uk, draws on CTT’s identity and also reflects the contemporary feel of major cycling brands. The site was designed by Spitfire’s Senior Designer Matt Hawes and has already received thousands of visitors since going live a few days ago.
Speaking on the launch of the site, Spitfire Marketing Managing Director Andy Rose said, “We were delighted to be asked by Cycling Time Trials to work on this project. Cycling is a glamorous and growing sport these days and it’s great to help new riders take up the sport”.
